I write books on a range of subjects, for adults and children. I began with guides for teachers and school textbooks, and in recent years I have also focused on books about language and communication skills.

I am also an experienced editor, as well as giving talks and workshops, on a variety of topics, including communication skills and writing-related matters.

I have two projects on the go at the moment. I am in the middle of preparing six new editions for the Heinemann Shakespeare series. There is more about that project here. In addition, I am in the middle of an M.A. in Shakespeare and theatre at the Shakespeare Institute in Stratford-upon-Avon, which is proving very stimulating and demanding.
